The Imperial Order of St. Anastasia the Great Martyr

The Imperial Order of Saint Anastasia the Great Martyr was established by the Head of the Russian Imperial House, H.I.H. Sovereign Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna, Supreme Head of the Russian Imperial and Royal Orders, August 7/20, 2010 in honor of the Holy Great Martyr Anastasia, in memory of her namesake Queen Anastasia Romanovna, thanks to whose marriage to Tsar John IV the Terrible the House of Romanov subsequently inherited the rights and obligations of the extinct Royal House of Rurikovich and was called to the throne by the Great Local and Zemsky Council of 1613.

Imperial Order of St. Great Martyr Anastasia is awarded to female persons for outstanding services to the Fatherland and the Russian Imperial House.

Order of St. Great Martyr Anastasia has one degree. The badge of the Order is worn on a bow on the left side of the chest. The dames of the Order acquire the rights of personal nobility.
